Firm History:

Murrey & Co, PC was established by Gary Murrey in 1991.
On May 1, 2014 Gary Murrey, Eric Paschall, and Kyle Caperton formed a partnership and created Murrey Paschall & Caperton PC.
On August 31, 2018, after 27 years, Gary Murrey retired from the practice of public accounting. As part of this transition Kyle Allis joined Eric Paschall and Kyle Caperton as partner.

Murrey Paschall & Caperton PC's expertise ranges from basic tax and accounting services to more in-depth services such as reviews and audits. By combining the expertise and experience of our staff, we assure that every client receives the close and personal attention they deserve. Our dedication to high standards, experienced professionals and staff, and work ethic is the reason our clients allow us to continue to serve them.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help clients accurately account for their data, whether that be in the form of accounting, financial statements and/or tax returns and to provide guidance and direction for the future. This requires personal knowledge and communication with clients to understand our clients and what their goals are. Our Team

Eric Paschall, CPA

Eric joined the firm in 2010 after 4+ years in the tax division of KPMG. Eric is primarily involved in the tax division of the firm but also assist in performing reviews and audits as well as other areas. Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kyle Caperton, CPA

Kyle joined the firm in 2012 after 3+ years in the audit division of Deloitte and 4+ years at a private company with an emphasis on supply chain and inventory management. Kyle is primarily involved in the auditing division of the firm but also assist in tax preparation as well as other areas. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University.

Kyle Allis, CPA

Kyle joined the firm in 2016 after 6+ years at a large Dallas area not for profit. During this tenure, Kyle served over the grants and accounting department, gaining valuable insight into Federal and State funding requirements. Kyle is primarily involved in the accounting division of the firm, but also assists in audit and tax preparation areas. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Fort Hays State University in Kansas, and Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Ann Johnson

Ann joined the firm in 2006 after eight years of experience with another firm. Ann is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor and does QuickBooks training and consulting. Ann is primarily involved in accounting and write-up with extensive experience in payroll and sales tax return preparation.

Tammy Rinehart

Tammy joined the firm part-time in 2005 and then full-time in 2007. Tammy is primarily involved in accounting and write-up and payroll preparation, including payroll returns.

Donna Lawler

Donna joined the firm in 2005. Donna serves as office manager and in also involved in payroll preparation and accounts payable services for clients.

Brenda Hayman

Brenda was with the firm from 2000 to 2005 and returned to her position after moving back to the area in 2013. Brenda specializes in payroll services.

Mary Hickey

Anthony Smith, EA

Anthony joined the firm in 2016. He is primarily involved in the tax division of the firm. Specializing in federal and state tax including franchise and sales tax reporting. Anthony holds an Associates of Applied Science in Network Administration and is an Enrolled Agent with unlimited practice rights before the IRS.
